Sonnalli Seygall believes that charcoal water might be a good way to feel better because it can make the body less acidic. But is charcoal water really a magic solution for migraines? We asked experts to give us more information.

A nutritionist named Nupuur Patil explained that charcoal can absorb bad things in our stomach and might help remove harmful stuff. Some people think that getting rid of these harmful things could help stop migraines. But Patil said we need more research to be sure if it really works.

Another expert, Shruti Bhardwaj, who knows a lot about diets, said that charcoal water hasn’t been proven to stop migraines. She suggested using things that are known to work, like drinking water, managing stress, getting enough sleep, and avoiding foods that could make migraines worse.

If you’re curious about trying charcoal water for migraines, Nupuur Patil has some advice. Talk to a doctor first, especially if you’re not feeling well or if you’re taking medicine. If you decide to try it, start with just a little bit of charcoal mixed into water, maybe 1/4 to 1/2 a teaspoon, and make sure it’s mixed well before you drink it.

Although Sonnalli Seygall thinks charcoal water might help, experts remind us that it’s important to be safe and ask a doctor before trying it out.”
